What KDA verification means
Every listing on KaraarConnect carries a KDA digital address. This page explains what that is, and what the badge on a listing is and is not telling you.
What a KDA address is
KDA is the Karaar Digital Address registry. A KDA address is a short code — like MQHD-33785 — that identifies one specific building or unit in Muqdisho. It replaces directions such as “near the blue mosque” with something a driver, a courier or an ambulance can use.
KDA Address Verified
A KDA field officer has visited this location, recorded its coordinates and confirmed the address belongs to this building. The address and the location on the map are checked facts.
Awaiting KDA verification
The business has been registered and its address exists in the registry, but no officer has visited it yet. The listing is real; the location has not been confirmed. Treat the address as unchecked until the badge changes.
What verification does NOT mean
It is a statement about the ADDRESS, not about the business. KDA does not check prices, quality, licensing or whether a business is honest. A verified address means we know where it is, not that we vouch for what happens there.
Business Ownership Verified
A separate check. It means the person managing this listing has proved to KaraarConnect staff that they own or manage the business. It says nothing about the address, and the address badge says nothing about ownership.
